Appointment Policy

Consultation Structure

Sarva Health adheres to the following consultation structure:

  • Initial consultation: Establish client concerns and background, and determine clients' expectations.

  • Consultations 2 to 4: Work towards overcoming client concerns through the application of appropriate techniques and strategies.

  • Consultation 5 and beyond: Continued monitoring and adjustment of treatment approach. Discuss continuation or termination of service dependent on client progress.

Payment  

Payment is required, in full, prior to your appointment and must be made at the time of booking. Appointments with an outstanding balance will not go ahead. Sarva Health is not a psychology practice, and as such does not offer bulk billing, and clients are not eligible for partial Medicare rebates. NDIS funded clients may seek to use their funding on this service as a non-registered provider. Please speak with your Support Coordinator or see https://www.ndis.gov.au/ for further information.

Appointment Times

Each appointment runs for 50 minutes. If you feel you need a longer appointment time, please advise at the time of booking so that a double appointment can be arranged.

In order to provide a fair and timely service to all patients, I require that patients who have made a booking arrive promptly for their appointment. Arriving late deprives you of precious minutes, as each session will be finished on time as a courtesy to our next patient. I fully understand that sometimes being late is outside of your control, and I will always do my best to accommodate late arrivals. I ask that you contact me if you are concerned you may be late as soon as is practical. Unfortunately, arriving too late to your consult will result in your appointment being forfeited.

I do my best to be on time for every appointment, but sometimes emergencies or unexpected situations arise that cause delays beyond my control. I understand that these can be frustrating, and I truly apologise for any inconvenience they may cause. In the rare case that I'm running late, I promise to contact you as soon as possible to keep you informed and to minimise your wait time. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.
